    SUSaNOO: I saw but still do not get how it translates into memory... and I had reverse engineered, used tools changed stuff to and back but still don't get it

    id:2850744 Is a good visualisation tool to see the filt get turned in to the individual bits, these get connected to electronics.

    No problem, It's used because of how compact it is 30 bits -1 (the 30th bit usually means 0) is 29 bits in 1 pixel. This is VERY space efficient. People often then translate or decode the FILT values into binary. Thats how they can use it for compact storage, then use the value in electronics.

    SUSaNOO: people make memory with filt but that's in computers, how does that have anything to do with computers? it's a filter.. I don't get it...
