    The N-1 rocket in question was reportedly carrying 2500 tonnes of liquid oxygen and kerosene, the aforementioned W87 warhead weighs about 240 kg.

    For a comparison of actual explosive strength, a single Minuteman 3 ICBM is capable of carrying 3 W62 or W87 bombs, with the latter having a yield in the ballpark of 400 kt of TNT equivalent. The explosion of a Soviet N-1 liquid fueled rocket which was one of the largest conventional explosions ever recorded, was estimated at about *1 kt*, which resulted in the launch pad being out of commission for 18 months.

    The other thing with ICBM warheads is that they are already well above hypersonic speeds on reentry, somewhere in the ballpark of mach 20, which makes both interception and manouvering quite difficult. The extra fuel would also pale in comparison to the destructive capabilities of hydrogen bombs.
