A simple spectroscopy machine that uses reflected light to identify elements. This one isn't particularly refined as there are some rogue bounces with certain elements but it's still fun to look for peaks and figure out what your sample is. Always a WIP.

woh, this is acctually really cool +1

A home semiconductor lab sounds amazing

+1 and fav noice siocne

Killaship2: Diodes, basic caps and a kinda functional transistor. My eqipment isn't precise enough to do much else right now, my ellipsometer is literally a few polarizers taped to a laser diode and a photoresistor..

Furry_02: If you don't mind me asking, what sort of ICs have you made in your home fab?
-
This is definitely really cool!

**note, I use a different kind of spectroscopy, (ellipsometry) using the polarization & wavelength of light rather than just wavelength)
-
It's really cool seeing a tool I use all the time in a game. (I use it to measure thicknesses of doped Si & non-doped SiO2 layers in my home semiconductor fab.)

TPT: *is purely digital* TPT users: let's make analogue +1

very nice! +1!
