This is a type of energy production facility that concentrates a huge area of sunlight into a central tower. The energy it gathers throughout the day is stored as heat in a molten mixture of salts to keep producing electricity even when the sun is out!

The way to fix this save so that it works everywhere would be to add a second layer of glass.

You can see this in action if you create a 1px thick box of insl, fill it halfway with watr, and drop some sand in the watr. Some send goes through the insl because it's only 1px thick and doesn't always register as a wall.

This doesn't work in some versions of the game because movement is designed such that 1px layers of particles aren't necessarily walls. At times they act like walls, other times they act like nothing, and in the case of the next version of the game, they do something completely different: they eat photons.

The light still doesn't work with Cracker1000's mod v56.6 (at least for me), while it does work with the unmodded game. Because the mod uses a recent development snapshot the issue could be either a change introduced to the game itself or a change in the mod.
