Gowate: How about covering it with lead and positioning it just right,so that the signal waves are able to swing by the black hole and towards an antenna using a gravity assist.
And let's say the camera is equiped with a filter that allows for a good view of the black hole, and that it can resist radiation and heat, the livestream's signal would be "jammed" or "hidden" by the radiations from the disc (the signal would be too weak in comparison to the radiations and couldn't be distiguished)
@NUKE-TESTER an active black hole (with an accretion disc) would look like a completely blank image through a camera, if it wasn't for the fact that the camera would most likely bvrn instantly and the electronics would fail due to the intense radiations.
