This is what you would see if you came across a stellar mass black hole in space. It's invisible, but it's possible to make out the distortion around it. Before it rips you apart of course

    Black holes were once theorectical, but now they can tell there are areas of space with infinite density that sucks everything in. Supermassive black holes are in the center of galaxies and can be seen

    I don't think they have any proof, but they can see through telescopes that there is something there, by the distortion.

    It is said that in the interior of the black hole, at those very high pressures there is singularity. It compacts matter to anti-matter kinda strange 0_o
