This is the basic concept of an Air-to-ground engagement of a mobile SAM, such as an SA-9 or SA-6. The missile, whether it has a radar or infrared seeker always follows the predicted path of it's target. This is called "Lead Pursuit" targeting.

    only the outside ever moves when i make one. what do i do wrong?

    Make a circle with SPNG, then open the console with the ~ key, type ! set vx spng -2. That makes your spng move left at a speed of 2.
