    That would make the asteroid too hot and melt my ship. This is the second time somebody has commented on making hotter beams.

    i tried it with the pixal there at the tip of the probe. it worked alot better. you must have had the wrong color. it needs to be red pipe.

    Actually, the lava/brel wouldn't go through that pixel for some reason. I deleted it, and now the system works.

    @cyberdragon Also, due to bugs in radial gravity, even if there is no molten stuff, the brel stubbornly avoids the probe.
