wings direct air downwards. Newtons third law states that the air would puch the wing up. -

If this was made correctly there would be a huge gap inbetween the air and the wing at the top and there would be air swirling on the back. Sort of right. -

cj646464 21st Sep 2012Exactly, the high pressure under the wing has a shorter trip so it doesn't go so fast but on the top, the low pressure goes fast createing a low pressure zone where.Then, the wing tries to fill it's space

All of you know how High pressure always goes to lower pressure right? Well that's exactly what happens with the wing. The high pressure below the wing pushes up to try to get above the wing. -
