    if it stops at 77% then you may have to uninstall and reinstall minecraft, but if it stops at anything else just use my other method.

    I know you probably haven't seen this yet but when you do could you reply if it worked for you or not, if it didn't then i've got some other fixes that are more complex, like editing your .bin a bit.

    I meant start menu, and I meant Force Update, and if you play offline next time you will lose your achievments so log in first time you play and the bug won't oocur, hope it helps!

    For 1.3.2? Press the button to open the strat menu but also press r at the same time, then type %appdata%, go to .minecraft and open the updater and force open, you may lose all your achievments.
