Anyway, I managed to make an animated Bomb Sprite Using CRAY and alot of patience... It's hard to coordinate all the wifi so that each row displays the right number... -

PortalPlayer 26th Feb 2017Blergh conics, I've been at this for almost 3 hours... share my pain: with the hyperbola x^2/a^2 - y^2/b^2 = 1 and the point P(a sec theta, b tan theta), find the intercepts of the tangent at P with the asymptotes, then show that the area of the triangle between the origin and those two points is ab. I got there in the end (that wasn't the full 3 hours), but it took so much work...
