Post any bugs you find here. But there aren't as many bugs that are really bugs and I don't already know about than when this first started, so also use this as a general conversation save, or to ask / tell me anything. #1 most commented save in tpt!

lol no. It was a bug, and it caused issues. Stickmen handling was rewritten in a way which makes it impossible to add them back.

I think you completely misunderstand the current state of TPT development. Nothing is being added, otherwise there would be more than one update a year. With such slow development, doing drastic changes could have a negative effect on the game if we break stuff and don't have the time to fix it. Also, a larger area isn't something that interests us. State changes do, and we don't need TPT 2 to add better state changes.

Not sure what to suggest then. The longer major simulation changes wait the more stuff gets added that complicates things. I'm guessing TPT will just never have descent state changes or a larger area at this point. Kinda unfortunate but whatever.

I'm not going to be writing a TPT 2 ... lol. That would be a massive effort and cause significant problems for the community.

You said it'd require some major changes to simulation code to do somthing like that. Could there ever be a TPT 2 then? A more advanced physics simulator but with the same sort of grid pattern? Maybe a larger area and proper state changes etc. could be included in such a rework. Though I imagine it'd take too much manpower rn

The only reason I say technically not a bug is because it was designed that way. But it was a poor design choice. It's just really hard to fix it in the code, or else we would have done it already. I'm actually surprised I never included it in my bug list here. The most similar bug is an ancient bug "Can't move signs into zoom window". So it was even WORSE in the past lol.

It is bug-adjacent. As in, it's kind of a bug, but not really. Either way I'd love to fix it.
