@msasterisk. you forgot to account for neutrons... i know to do that and im 15 years old... plus i learnt this stuff of of the internet, not even from a teacher... :b again. -
GreatWight 30th Oct 2012@Izack. 2 hydrogen nuclei fuse to make a deuterium nuclei. helium with an atomic mass of 3 is formed when deuterium captures a proton. 2 of the helium (atomic mass of 3) nuclei fuse to create 1 helium (atomic mass of 4) nuclei with a 2 proton emmision... unless i counted them wrong, there are 4 hydrogen nuclei involved in the creation process of helium. :b
