    Not pressure, but blocking ambient heat would be a great idea.

    i have an idea to add to this, what if the force field acted like a wall, where for instance ambient heat and high pressure wouldnt go through the force field unless the FF is broken

    so, life would increase slowly if the emmitter is sparked and decrease depending on the temperature of the energy particle that is absorbed.
