Magnetic field or thoughts about plasma, thunder and spark

There's a new element called "electrode" when energised, it will arc to the nearest electrode and transfer any current in the process.
Though a problem I'm having at the moment is that the plasma is melting anything attached to the electrodes.

If by "wireless" you mean "uber-death-beam" and by "gates" you mean "beads of molten metal".

(Ignore the fact it's firing off to the left, that's a bug.)

so what does this imply, simon?

You could create a hidden element called "arc" that looks like spark and has mostly the same properties but does the above without melting everything as a cheat to get around that.
