You should compile it yourself with --opengl option, as I remember. Also, OpenGL mode is too crappy now, to my mind, to make it official.

EDIT: Tried to compile, but got stuck at "Under Build > Configuration Manager, open the drop-down box under "Active Solution Configuration:" and change it to "Release". (unless you have a good reason to keep it as Debug, which runs slower than Release)" on the Windows compile for Visual Studio.
I ended up uninstalling C++ (and for some reason my VB.NET and C# ones too), so I won't bother trying to compile it myself. Even the pre-prepared solution didn't work :C
