Best to let us have our fun, it's just one day a year. Old versions were available. I think most of the community enjoyed it.
April fool's jokes used to be a yearly tradition here, but we stopped doing them 6 years ago mostly due to time constraints. I'm glad we finally got to do it again, thanks to the combined efforts of @catsoften, @Simon, and @Lockheedmartin
With this one, there was the option to turn off the sounds (if you repeatedly attempt it you can force it through), or use OS-level controls to mute specifically just TPT. Now if you want to see a truly unplayable joke, check what we did 6 years ago :P -

only your problem that you dislike the 1st april jokes of tpt (devs always have been doing randomiest joke updates every(almost every, they procrastinated for years) 1st of april, and im glad they still do).
that stupid joke almost made powder toy unusable for me
you always were able to turn the pc/lap/phone/etc's volume down.
I actually have been wanting to have sound effects in powder toy for the past year now
audio in tpt will never be added as an actual feature besides this joke lol, its been rejected every time it was suggested (i guess except this one april fools update)
