yes pizzaplatypus most people on powdertoy have made an Liquid-Metal Fast-Breeder Reactor i have made an boiling water along with those too reactors are the deturium and pressurized water reactors if you want and along with that boiling water one i have made this one:

EDIT: also most people have no circulation and use the cooling towers in the wrong way

    devino:

yes i suppose i could do that but there is no clne or void in real life(sorta) i wanted to make it a complete "curcuit'

The clone acts as a water inlet pipe that comes from a continuous water source such as the ocean.
The void acts as a water (or steam) outlet pipe that leads into the sky. The steam effectively 'dissapears' into nothing.

if you put it that way it does make sense

It does make sense because you can't exactly fit a full scale ocean into powder toy, only small scale, which will only last a minute or two. if that.

I think you all have seen my reactor ill put it up on this thread to show anyways.

the water comes directly from the lake, gets transfered by pipe to a purifier then to the holding tank. from there it gets transfered to a reactor that boils the water. the water vapor then goes to a generator, then goes to the cooling tower where i have clones to add more water to cool the water vapor a bit. it needs work but that is my best simulation to date.

will do. i will have to redo a few things that might take some time but it might be worth it in the end.

your reactor which is nice is not a true reactor. the water is supposed to be brought from the lake into the cooling tower which would transfer cold air to the condenser wich would cool the steam and send it back to the reactor core as water and the cycle would start back over

^ thats how your kind of nuclear reactor works
