No actually, it uses photons, which are the basic unit of light. Lasers use light, therefore it is actually a laser.

That's really unusual, it was working before i left...
Edit: I just got home and tested it, as far as I can tell is it's working perfectly -
still not working,the diamond reflector in the low right corner isn't reflecting them right.

i figured out why it wasn't working with you but i did with me, im using powder-legacy. i can't explain why this isn't working, any combination and location of the diamond ends in the same result, the photons are just absorbed. Nice

in physics LASER IS CONCENTRATED LIGHT. not photons that have spaces in them.
