Guys the steam greenlit vote can be helped with ads. I was thinking we can make a video on the steam greenlit page that maybe can convince people to vote for it. Also we can use advertisment websites, and devs to help us do that. We will have to gather in funds, so if the game is not voted for, nothing will be changed and we can try again, without someone always losing $100USD

I'm not sure what would be the difference if the game was on steam.

Very unlikely that we will put TPT on steam.

Why are we thinking about putting this on steam? People won't want to pay for a game that you can download for free.... I mean unless you're forking that money over to a charity like jward212 said you will make no money... $0. Also making people pay for the game would also be a really bad move because approximately 90% of TPT users are under 18..... and don't have credit cards to pay for such a game..... so your community would basically march out like an army of orcs from Isengard. And even if you make TPT free on steam you'll expand your community, but that will be it, So put it on steam for free or fork the money over to a charity or basically you will make no profit whatsoever, and if you make people pay for it like I said, *poof* community gone. So please think this through carefully devs, I love TPT and I want to see it last a long time, Keep TPT how it is.

(Not too bad of a necro). You said "[it] would expand the community, but that will be it..." Personally, I feel like that's a fine reason to add it to Steam Free2Pay. From what I can tell, the only newcomer traffic this site (and game) gets is either when a friend refers them, or they stumble upon it on their own looking for a physics simulator. It isn't advertised, it isn't plugged, just almost random traffic. I know a lot of people, when they join Steam, look through the Free2Play section looking for anything that may interest them. I have a feeling TPT would rate fairly high in the User Reviews section, placing it higher up on the list.

TL;DR I don't think adding TPT to Steam for Free is a bad idea.
