Tried that this morning. Protons pass through when activating the pistons. :(
Maybe if some mechanism was added that causes extending pistons to delete radiation (replace instead of go under), it would fix it.
GIANT ERROR IN SNAPSHOT 8 every save with cray with a tmp value set shows tmp 0 and is broken. that is like 70% of my saves
As of snapshot 8, CONV tmp value can be used to set an element to be converted. Other alternatives are to make the VOID section longer, or to fire protons diagonally at the currently active CRAY.

Thanks. I need to get busy. the Targetron assemblers us PSTN stacked on E-hole.
Edit: This new PSTN mode is AMAZING! OMG. the problems with stacked/layered pstn were 1. that you could not move it with pstn without tearing the layers apart. 2. layering and then adding a pixel or 2 to adjust the length was never quite perfect. this is 1000x better than stacking pstn. granted I will have to fix a bunch of saves but WOW. there is going to be some V2 and V3 of stuff no doubt.
