Adding TPT to Steam isn't a bad idea. I was in the process of applications and working on it, but I pulled my application recently for the Greenlight. Mostly in part due to the high upkeep and lack of community support. I just didn't see it as a viable option.
We need a way to attract new people to the game. seriously. it would be a shame to see it flounder now. what does it take to get it on steams free stuff?

Ask around here, I guess. If people know what the benefits would be, I'm sure you'd get community support from those of us here.
You'd be surprised how much lack of support there was for the idea. Simon asked Valve awhile back before Greenlight and they felt it was not the right place for TPT. iirc I technically don't have permission to place this server/site on Greenlight. Nor would I actually want to do such a task because the 100.00$ fee isn't going to give any sort of return to break even. You need to pay 100.00$ to have your account be able to push games into the Greenlight vote system. Also you need to have the game voted upon in the Greenlight marketplace in order to have it full published.
The more recent application was for my server actually. Considering the lack of community support on that one too, it was promptly cancelled.
$100.00 dollars is not much. if 20 of us can each coff up 5. I blow 5 bucks on lunch 3 times a week. I am sure there are at least 20 people selfless enough to give 5 bucks. as for voting. we all know how to vote up a project :) this can get organized. I am behind it if others are in. and as far as valve not thinking it was the right place, well other large institutions have been wrong before. No comment.
I'd be willing to forward some money for it. As I previously stated, I'd be happy to do all I can to help. And who's to say we can't make a save detailing the fact that TPT is on Greenlight? That'd inform the other 70% or whatever of users who don't use the forum that they can help support TPT in more ways than placing neutrons and protons in high-density Deuterium and making every save go boom.
I would be willing to pledge 50 bucks if this gets moving. I have been playing for 2 1/2 years for free. I don't do mods/coding so I dont contribute that way. I am totally serious about this.
is there any other outlet that TPT might be placed on?
well... google play games?
@jacksonmj, is your a Devloper?
And i'm not sure i didn't be Moderator to ban bad peoples.
