While I do not want to entirely discourage element suggestions in the forums, I want to make clear the reality that is element implementation. Simply making extensive and detailed posts about how your element works is about 5% of the actual work in creating an element. The other 95% is coding, testing, and quality control of that code.
There may be a chance that a modded client developer may take up the suggestion, it’s very rare that the suggestion will end up in the vanilla version of the game by hopping from forum to game. You could also code the element in Lua for yourself or to distribute through the Script Server, if needed, though even then that remains distant from implementation.
The route that increases the chance of being accepted (baring code quality checks) and implemented is for you to code the element in C++ and making pushing a request to the repo. We simply do not and cannot, code/test/implement every element suggested, even those written in painfully extensive detail. It’s just not possible with the size and focus of our team along with client limitations.
