How do I create Custom Pipes?

    The Wiki tells me to use the cooling element, but that doesn't work, another source said to change the ctype of the pipe before I unpause, but that just fills the pipe with dust/water/oil/fire and then it auto generates normally. Does anyone know how to create manual pipes by choosing what type of pipe it will become? (Red/green/blue)

    I think I see what you want. I can suggest growing ordinary pipes first, then cutting and pasting the required colours into a new pipe.

    Yeah, just let them generate themselves. It's pretty difficult to configure pipes manually, you have to fiddle with bits and directions.
