    Actually, you can just craft the beacon block, but it is rather expensive, you need nether star, obsidian, and some other things too.

    @fpsrussia: the beacon block gives you a permanent bonus you can choose, depending on the preciousness of the stones you give away and their amount. this block itself is one of the hardest you can have, as it requires to beat a very difficult boss.
