    I don't think that's the problem either, since the firing chamber can be fully loaded a second time and the ignition protons can be fired a second time, they just go straight through the DEUT in the firing chamber for some odd reason.

    oh, i forgot! clones are conductive. the charge of the nscn goes into the clone and then conducts to the pscn so the weapon cant turn off. i have the same problem with my proton laser.

    I am aware of that, but even if you fully load it a second time the ignition protons will not trigger a chain reaction, that is the problem here.

    some protons can be left after the first shot and they set off the deut that is being loaded

    The cannon reloads with the two buttons up at the top, for reasons that I haven't quite discovered yet, it doesn't seem to want to fire after reloading sometimes.
