    I think that it may end up being something like the last angel (A work of fiction I will plug twelve times in one scentence if I can) and FTL is limited by gravity wells. bigger engines mean more power for in system acceleration, so interplanetary travel is faster.

    a new version is in the works. dont know when i'll finish it though. it has better armour, deflecton system and better fighters.
