I like learning this stuff, but could you re explain the Lorenz thing and dumb it down for me? i didnt really get the equation parts
@minecraft-physics: I doubt that (good) mathematicians straight out multiply zero by infinity. Do you mean to take another limit here?
sound that travels faster than sound...
@destroyer127 the sonic boom it's the union of those bangs
@destroyer127: I see only one boom, but a lot of bangs and protons

okay, thank you. the one and only person who hasn't been a patronising bastard. i genuinely gained something from your essay XD hopefully that wall of text will convince everyone else to shut up about it because someone could finally be bothered to type it all out. if i could upvote comments, i would.
And Sentinal-5, E=mc^2 is a lot more complicated than it looks- it implies a mass-energy equivalence. It's used to explain a lot of strange, strange phenomena, such as the fact that a helium nucleus has less rest mass than its component fundamental particles added together. It also (somewhat) explains why electrons (matter) can behave as a wave in some situations, while light (usually a wave) can behave as a particle in other situations.
