    2, Gravitational-lensing: light bends around very massive objects such as black holes, rendering them invisible. the light is bending in a highly eliptical orbit. orbit is falling. a weightless object cannot fall. orbit requires mass, photons orbit.

    @NikolaAnicic007 light is weightless.. okay, let's apply this to some tried and tested physical ocurrences shall we? 1, Solar-sails: light is absorbed by a material, then radiated. the radiating heat energy (infra-red LIGHT) has INERTIA which pushes the sail away. INERTIA REQUIRES MASS.

    basically i reckon that if you weigh less than a photon, you can travel faster than c.

    but. the current theory assumes photons are massless. i say, they are affected by gravity, therefore must have mass. if they have mass, that effectively puts a cap on their speed at which point an infinite ammount of energy can be applied to produce an infinitely small change in velocity.
