    Muscles need oxygen to work in the first place. The only reason they shouldn't need to breath or respire is either mechanical intervention,replacement or overriding of muscles via external sources (i.e the flood) or a fundamentally altered metabolism that uses very different chemicals for function Or magic.

    well thats stupid, because skelotons are just bone, they need muscles to move and muscles need oxegen which come from lungs .

    Fun Fact: The skeleton will still operate without the Brain. But it'll make it really dumb, and mistake you for a zombie if you go slow! Even when you aren't slouched like one!
