Phantom Freddy is thought to trigger randomly, which can catch the Player off-guard and suspect him as Springtrap and play audio in a nearby room. Which could give Springtrap a chance to end the player's night.

    Yeah, well... It's probably because of the constant darkness making everything LOOK like it has a low brightness.
