    fire is not a gas, fire is plasma, which is technically supposed to be undefined, as in its not solid, liquid, or gas.

    actually smoke is not a gas, smoke is composed of little parts of carbon floating in the air so it looks like a gas but its a powder.

    Well the smoke part is unneccesary because smoke is literally carbon dioxide, though it might also be a mixture of gasses.
