I have seen this happen on multiple saves where a piece of stone/material falls through a 1-pixel wide shaft for a decent legnth of time.

    Yes, I know. The pressure causes air turbulence (Same thing that causes an airplane to shake when at high speed), which causes the stone to "collide" with the wall, in which the game detects the "collision" and sets the speed of the stone to 0. After that the stone needs to accelerate again. (ANOTHER HYPOTHESIS)

    No, turn off pressure and it stop "rubbing".

    interesting... this type thing also happens when you try to dump dust in an empty save, perhaps the pixels are somehow supporting eachother momentarily?

    @DiEliss (CONTINUED) At the second frame though, the pressure decreases to 0.01 (at the top of the stne) and -0.01 (at the bottom of the stne). In the 3rd frame, the stone then accelerates again and keeps falling.
