A bit of a late correction, but tesla did not invent the incandescent light bulb, and neither did Edison. The incadescent lamp had been invented by many people prior to Edison and the british inventor Joseph Swan. What Edison and Swan did, was that they improved the old versions of the bulbs to such extent, that they were commercially practical and viable.
