TOKAMAK - TOroidal'naya KAmera's MAgnitnymi Katushkami (Toroidal Magnetic Camara). Experimental nuclear fusion reactor, invented in the 1950s by Soviet physicists Igor Tamm and Andrei Sakharov (who were inspired by the original idea of Oleg Lavrent).
