i used ambient heat but 3rd tiers spark areas are melted

I meant diamonds in real life. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Diamonds were made from quartz and titanium. I don't know why they might vaporize.

Diamonds vaporize if heated enough. I'm not so sure about the other gems.
