    for ships i typically make sure the inside parts work, then connect them and add a hull around that. They shape themselves really but it does take time to get all the parts working.

    ...What is EQVE? I've never seen it in the menus but the terrain (that I thought was sand) is that.

    If you do intend to make a planet for the game, i implore you to create a handful of segments (see imperitus city) and perhaps some atmosphere. +1
