    All you need to do is put PCLN down, put PSCN and NSCN next to it on opposite sides, then select PHOT, then put the PHOT on the PCLN and if you press d then you will see the PCLN says PCLN(PHOT). Then when you put SPRK on PSCN the PCLN will activate and give off photons. Photons are kind of 'particles of light' so that's why you should use them.
