    Most of your questions should be answered in the description, the signs or comments already. The reason it doesn't use better ammo/armour is because this is just a prototype. The processes for properly armouring and changing the ammo on this both require major modifications to the weapon. The obvious methods for this will still work, but aren't as effective.
