    The war has left most of the world in a state of darkness, with only some areas of Europe and the Polar Crystalline Empire remaining as bastions of civilization. South America is in ruins due to fallout from the north, and the Pacific Theater is suffering due to radioactive fallout. Australia has fared mostly well, but the loss of trade has been detrimental to their economy.

    1957: World War III, a massive nuclear conflict, leaves over 3 billion dead around the globe. The war began with an invasion of the Congo by Arabsia, which led to an all-out nuclear exchange between the United States and Arabsia. Arabsia also launched nuclear weapons towards the Eastern Federation for an unknown reason, completely devastating Asia and North America.
