  The dislikes are probably because people like to see materials tear apart, not to displace materials in front of it using dray, in short words getting rid of it. Also, when you reset and place a permament EMP, the gun stops

  Most probably because this weapon cheats. It doesnt actually destroy anything to penetrate it, it just deletes what is infront of it hence why it can penetrate anything. The composition of the beam produced by the DRAY is for the most part irrelevant, only contributing to collateral damage, and takes almost no thought to make work.
