    Might be a component of the BALL or RAZR element from Jacob1's Mod if that is what you use as both of those have to have fancy displacement properties, maybe RAZR temporarially switches touched elements to this to cut through solids.

    You are probally using an outdated version

    you must be using a modded version of the game, it is possible to have a valid element for 256 if you have enough in your mod
