i think its pretty good, and if you use photon for a freeze ray its both harder to make and worse because there is less surface area so it takes longer to freeze things, so why is it cheating to use cflm? -

It's not that good. It's also cheating. You used CFLM. Other, more creative people can make freeze canons with PHOT.
