The real sun will never go supernova, but if it happens, the earth may experience things like this.

After it forms into a Red Giant, it will then collapse under its own weight and gravity and turn into a dense White Dwarf

actually,No our star will not go supernova because the our Sun is too small, stars that do do this are much larger in size and wipe out all planets in their solar system when they do go supernova. What will happen to our star is that as the Sun grows with age it will turn into a Red Giant and Mercury, Venus, and maybe Earth too will be gobbled up by this Red Giant. This wont happen for another 5 billion years.

ok 1... the sun is NOT a white dwarf its actually is known as a "G-type main-sequence star" ok? 2. No not all suns go super nova, they can either go supernova, black hole (where a star collapses on itself from so much gravity),and 3. yes our sun will go supernova

yeah. the sun is currently a white dwarf, so its gonna take a hell of a lot of time bfore it gos supernova

I mean, currently the sun doesnt actually have enough energy to go supernova
