    It can be, depending on the type of LIFE and the space it grows in. A quick test shows that in this case, at least some types are indeed better than PLSM. Subframe-refreshed PLSM or BRAY would be even better than that. Since I was working on somebody else's design, I made as few changes as possible, but yes, there's still plenty of room for improvement.

    Wouldn't an oscillating heater made out of LIFE be even more efficient than clearing PLSM with VOID?

    This isn't bad, but not very efficient. I made a couple of small changes that improve it a lot. Id:2567659 (you can use it for whatever you like)
