    There is more than enough top armor to stop even 12,7 mm rounds.

    I'd recommend trying to up-armor the engine deck, because it seems even small-arms fire would cause it to explode

    Also it was not a very good idea to put an acid battery near the fighting compartment

    Armor stops FIRW projectiles pretty well, but fragments of gun system are flying all over the turret. Maybe you should improve pressure protection
