Exocytosis is a form of active transport that gets particles out of the cell (high concentration to low concentration).Endocytosis is the opposite of exocytosis. Exocytosis pushes the particles out and endocytosis takes them in.

    Endocytosis is the opposite of exocytosis. Exocytosis pushes the particles out and endocytosis takes them in. A form of active transport where particles enter the cell using vacuoles as transport modules. The cells membrane engulfs the particles and swallows them.
