The only thing I would really call "bad quality" in the T-34 was the drivers gearbox, that stuff was horrible.

The USSR didn't have bad quality. For example, the T-34, the most famous example of 'quality vs quantity' wasn't even built badly, they were built efficiently. If the parts had to be high quality, they were. Where it didn't really matter, they weren't. Yes, the weldings were poor, yes, the tracks were crude, but the armor was tough, the guns were accurate enough, and the welds were strong even if they were poorly done. The tracks lasted as long as they needed to.

987tails: most of the USSR s quality was put into mass production and other things. say for instance a particle beam excelerator would have a bit more shoddy craftmanship because it wouldnt be as important to produce quality parts compared to rifles and ammunition so essentially the argument of: the USSR had bad craftsmanship could go either way with solid evidence backing each side

i personally think if the germans focused on Europe and not Making enemies with russia or America they would have won the war. the Brits and Russians had to rely on the Americans for better technology and production.

but i personally think the German's dedication and effiency greatly outdid other nations. they were slowly losing. they lost key factories in tank production, had much less metals, oils and resources than other nations but despite against all those odds they still kept making decent tanks and quality tech.

@GlebRussia2 that is very true! lots of historians paint the russians as low quality all throughout the war but they forget just how quickly advanced they got in just 10 years (1939-1950)
