@SentinelDuality thanks for your feedback, for the sake of simplicity I just let the deut overflow to avaid making a pump that could break down. and the equalibrium takes about 3 mins to reach where the core is at 450 C and the steam is at 16 Pressure units before the turbine -

an interesting and overall faithful adaptation of the CANDU design, well done. if i could suggest, the uranium core should ideally be run through by deuterium cooling pipes for more effective moderation. while in this abstract form it's fine, it can be quite slow to start and i'm uncertain of the reactor's equilibrium point
