    nikolaiblm: Venus's atmosphere distributes the insane heat well and traps it, while Mercury has no atmosphere to distribute it. The Moon has a similar effect to Mercury, but on a lesser scale.

    what is the little dot in between mars and jupiter? i may be wrong but is it ceres?
